Citi’s back. According to Mail Monitor, Citi has mailed 346 million card offers in the United States, more cards than population in the country. 33% of all credit cards offers mailed in the US were made by Citi. Citi will more than probably be the largest credit – card offer mailer in the country for the first time in 8 years.
It looks like the number one credit card issuer in the first years of the XXI century wants to strike back, after losing huge amounts of money with the subprime crisis. As a former Citibanker I feel very glad to read this news about this wonderful bank, once the biggest in the world. Good luck Citibankers!
